iPhone 14 Pro may finally reach "RAM parity" with flagship Android phones

A reliable Korean leaker, citing a domestic supply chain source, has claimed that 8GB of RAM is confirmed for the next-generation iPhone 14 Pro.

While iPhones have earned a great reputation for being significantly fast with less RAM than Android phones, no iPhone users would mind an increase in RAM size. In fact, the iPhone 14 Pro with 8GB RAM would undoubtedly be more "Pro" than its predecessor, the iPhone 13 Pro, which offers 6GB of RAM.

The leaker also claims that "scheduling for mass production seems to be proceeding faster, [with] tighter management of supply plans for major parts after COVID-19."

However, the leaker made no claims regarding the memory of the other iPhone models. Contrary to what the Korean leaker says, previous rumors claimed the standard iPhone 14 models would see an increase in RAM from 4GB to 6GB, but the next-generation Pro model will pack the same RAM size as its predecessor.

The camera of the iPhone 14 Pro may also surprise us. According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, iPhone 14 Pro will feature a 48-megapixel primary camera. For the sake of comparison, the current iPhone 13 Pro uses a 12MP primary camera.

Rumor also has it that the Pro models will start with 256GB of storage instead of 128GB in the iPhone 13 Pro. However, the non-pro iPhone 14 is expected to start with 64GB of storage.

Apple is said to hold an event in September to launch iPhone 14. So, we have plenty of time for leaks to come. However, you should take these rumors with a pinch of salt unless they are confirmed by the company.
