Jesus-approved versions of Guitar Hero, DDR and The Sims.

You've heard of 'Guitar Hero', but what about 'Guitar Praise'? An offering (no pun intended) from Digital Praise Media, 'Guitar Praise' is a PC game that comes with a wireless guitar and features gameplay similar to that of 'Guitar Hero'. The main difference in gameplay is the soundtrack, 'Guitar Praise' features music from approved Christian rock bands who convey messages of responsibility, forgiveness and kindness through their music.

In addition to 'Guitar Praise', Digital Praise Media also offers 'Dance Praise', a 'Dance Dance Revolution' type game. Just as 'Guitar Praise' features a Christian-oriented soundtrack, so does 'Dance Praise', allowing children to "sway, shuffle and hop to songs with meaningful Christian lyrics".

Not from Digital Praise Media, but also an interesting find is the game entitled 'Left Behind: Eternal Forces'. It is a game which features a 3d modelled New York City and gameplay similar to that of 'The Sims'. Players must convert heathens and build houses and churches for the faithful while not giving in to the temptations of the secular hordes. The game has 45 million players, so this is not something 'small scale'. The demo of this game is available via the 'Eternal Forces' link below.
