Just a few days ago, Microsoft released the latest version of the UWP Skype Preview app to Windows Insiders on the Fast ring which included a number of new features.
Now, it appears that Microsoft has released the latest version of the app to the Slow and Release Preview rings, allowing more users to get their hands on the new features. The next time you open the Skype Preview app, you should be greeted by a "Here's what's new" screen, reminiscent of what you may encounter with the Office apps when they are opened after an update.
The latest release bumps Skype Preview up to version 11.10.145.0 which can be verified as follows:
- Open the Windows Store app
- Click on your profile picture to the left of the search bar
- Click on 'Downloads and Updates'
The version number will be found alongside the app name and the last modification date.
Given how quickly the Skype Preview app has proceeded through the various Insider rings, a release to production may not be out of the question before Christmas.
