Dr Foxy enjoys getting an early look at a game still being made, but CitizenC questions the damage they can do, and asks everyone to think of the children.
"Dr Foxy: So I hear Epic had another early demo version of one of their games leaked. Neat. now we'll get an unprecedented look at the work Digital Extremes and them have been doing on Unreal Tournament 2003. How often do you get a look at a work in progress while getting to have fun at the same time? Not to mention that we get to play on an early version of a title we're going to have to wait weeks or months to sample in its full glory.
CitizenC: Poor Epic man. First Unreal 2, now Unreal Tournament 2003? That just isn't cool man. They spent a LOT of time working on both games, they get close to releasing the demo for the latter... and somebody goes and leaks it, thus totally ruining the surprise factor. Somebody sent me the leaked Unreal Tournament 2003 demo a few days ago and I looked at the little .ISO for almost 45 minutes before I deleted it without playing it. I want to be surprised."
