LEGO Indiana Jones is now available for Xbox One Backward Compatibility

It's Tuesday, which means that it's time for more backward compatible Xbox 360 games. We only got one addition today, which is LEGO Indiana Jones. The total amount of games on the list should now be 329.

Usually, new backward compatible games show up on Tuesdays and Thursdays, although last week, there were only three on Tuesday. The week before saw Alice: Madness Returns on Tuesday, and then two more on Thursday.

Indiana Jones joins three other LEGO titles on the list, which include Batman, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game, and Star Wars: The Complete Saga.

LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures takes the fun and creative construction of LEGO and combines it with the wits, daring and non-stop action from the original cinematic adventures that enthralled audiences everywhere (Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade). With a unique tongue-in-cheek take on the original adventures, LEGO Indiana Jones follows the escapades of Dr. Jones through the jungles of South America to the mountaintops of India. Fans can build, battle and brawl their way through their favourite cinematic moments, from Indy’s entanglements with snakes to his dashing boulder run. Additionally, players can also mix and match the body parts of more than 60 playable characters to create new heroes in more than 18 different levels that mirror the classic films.

Someone asked Xbox head Phil Spencer if we'll ever see backward compatible Xbox 360 games running on Windows PCs, and Spencer replied that we should 'never say never'. Still, it seems like porting actual Xbox One games would be a higher priority.

If you're looking for new games on the cheap, don't forget about Games with Gold, which offers four free games to Xbox Live Gold members every month. You still have until the 15th to grab Killer Instinct Season2 Ultra Edition (Xbox One), which was part of last month's offers, and for this month, you can currently claim Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime (Xbox One) and Monkey Island 2: SE (Xbox 360).
