Lenovo announces the ThinkSmart Hub 500 for Zoom Rooms

Today, Lenovo announced a new version of its ThinkSmart Hub 500, which is designed for Zoom Rooms. You might recall that the original ThinkSmart Hub 500 was announced at Microsoft's Ignite 2017 conference, supporting Skype Rooms.

Designed for huddle rooms, it's made to be an all-in-one solution. It's powered by an Intel vPro processor, and it has integrated Dolby Audio Premium speakers, 360-degree dual microphones, and a touchscreen to control your meeting. Lenovo will also be introducing ThinkSmart software for an easy setup experience, and will also offer real-time dashboards and device status.

But while it's meant for huddle rooms, Lenovo is also partnering with other OEMs to make a range of accessories that make the ThinkSmart Hub 500 expandable. The company partnered with Avocor for Zoom Rooms certified displays, Huddly IQ is making an AI-powered conference camera for more engaging meetings, and Maverick AV Solutions is offering Zoom Rooms bundle kits for various sizes of meeting rooms.

Lenovo didn't specify pricing or availability on the new ThinkSmart Hub 500 for Zoom Rooms, but if you're interested in one for your organization, you can contact your Lenovo sales rep.
