LG teases something new for MWC with "Goodbye Touch" teaser video

Mobile World Congress (MWC) is a little over a month away and companies have already started teasing some of their devices that will be showcased as the event. Now, it looks like LG is getting in on the fun by showing off a teaser clip that could bring about a device with a twist.

The video starts off with a cue card onscreen with the text " Goodbye Touch" and proceeds to have a hand wave and swipe away cards with gestures. This could be hinting at a new device that will support air gestures, allowing users to navigate an interface without the need for physical touches.

If this feature sounds familiar, it's probably because you might remember that Samsung introduced something similar with its Galaxy S4 that was released back in 2013. Of course, we don't know what LG has in store with such little details that have been shared, but we can hope that the firm will offer up something better and a bit more innovative. LG's event will take place on February 24.

Be sure to stay tuned next month as Neowin will be in attendance at Mobile World Congress 2019.
