Light's 52MP 'L16' 16 lens camera now has a final design, and is almost ready to ship

It has been two years since the announcement of the L16, a camera that houses 16 lenses and can produce 52MP stills. The time has almost arrived for those that pre-ordered to get their product, with images of the final design being revealed in a new leak.

So what does the L16 offer beyond capturing a 52MP still image with great detail? The camera offers five times optical zoom which utilizes the array of 28mm, 70mm, and 150mm lenses that are available. The camera also promises to offer impressive low light shots, due to its array which will allow you to capture great detail and offer extensive depth of field adjustments. Furthermore, the camera will be powered by Android, has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and will get over-the-air updates.

If you're interested, you'll want to register your email with Light. They will first be focusing on serving those that pre-ordered two years ago, by shipping the devices starting July 14, 2017, and will probably take new orders later in the year. The L16 is priced at $1,699.
