Lumia 735 listing disappears from Microsoft's US website

The product listing and documentation of the Microsoft Lumia 735 has been removed from the company's US website.

At the 2014 IFA trade fair in Berlin, Microsoft launched the Lumia 735, an affordable 4G LTE smartphone along with its non 4G sibling, the Lumia 730 and the mid-range flagship Lumia 830. The Lumia 830 was launched in the US recently on AT&T, while the Lumia 735 was expected to end up on Verizon in the first half of 2015.

Now, Microsoft's US website has taken down all the pages pointing to the existence of the Lumia 735 and search results also return dead links. It is unclear whether it was a mistake or the company has made a u-turn on its plans to launch the device in the country.

As with all previous Nokia Lumia smartphones on Verizon such as the 822, 928 and the Icon, the carrier could also be getting a different device altogether or not getting one at all considering its track record with Windows Phone.
