Mage Knight Apocalpyse in stores Sept. 26th

Leading video games publisher and developer NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc. today announced that its fantasy action role-playing PC game, Mage Knight: Apocalypse™, is now shipping to retail outlets across North America and will be available in stores beginning September 26th.  Featuring a richly-detailed universe, epic single player campaign and co-operative modes, Mage Knight: Apocalypse is the debut title launching from NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc.'s PC division. "Being the debut release from NAMCO BANDAI's PC division, we are delighted that Mage Knight: Apocalypse has now shipped to retail," said Makoto Iwai, Senior Vice President of the Development Group for NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc.  "We are confident that players will find the game'sdetailed universe, ferocious battles, evolutionary characterdevelopment and unlimited customization options as engrossing as we do."

The release of Mage Knight: Apocalypse will be supported with sweepstake promotions at sites including IGN, RPG Gamer and RPG Dreamer.  Readers of PC Gamer will also be given the opportunity to order a limited edition figurine in the November 2006 issue.  Copies of Mage Knight: Apocalypsewill also come with a special promotion code, whereby gamers can ordera special Mage Knight figure set of the in game characters for thetable-top miniature game at a 25% discount off of the suggested retailprice.

Based on the best-selling collectible miniature game from WizKids Games, Mage Knight: Apocalypseallows players to assume the role of one of five warriors sworn by oathto seek out the heart of evil plaguing the land and destroy it nomatter the cost.  Aided by the Solonavi, amysterious and magical race, the guardians commence a quest to rescuetheir world from the clutches of an evil army determined to bring aboutthe Apocalypse.  As the forces of chaos rise, acreature of unimaginable destructive power is unleashed to lead theenemy: the Apocalypse Dragon, a seemingly unstoppable five-headedhorror. In order to combat this monstrosity, players must rally supportfrom all of the land's factions and recruit brave heroes to battle fortheir cause. The future rests on the shoulders of these nobleadventurers, and the ultimate clash for battlefield supremacy is aboutto begin.
