Microsoft adds five more games to Xbox One Backward Compatibility

Microsoft added five more titles to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility list today. The new additions include Band of Bugs, Bullet Soul, Bullet Soul: Infinite Burst, Hard Corps: Uprising, and Hardwood Spades.

The firm has been adding a lot of titles to the list as of late, with two Geometry Wars games being added earlier this week, and another six last week. The total amount of backward compatible games is 379, so Microsoft is closing in on its next milestone of 400.

Here are today's new games:

Band of Bugs ($9.99)

Play as your Avatar and fight against bugs, spiders, even up to seven of your friends in Spider Hunter mode. Band of Bugs is a fast playing, accessible, tactics strategy game that puts YOU in the game! Gameplay is deep enough for established fans of the tactics genre, but friendly enough to appeal to casual gamers as well.

Bullet Soul ($14.99)

Bullet Soul is Japanese Shooter. Good luck have fun!

Bullet Soul -Infinite Burst- ($14.99)

Bullet Soul -Infinite Burst- is Japanese Shooter. Please enjoy new Bullet Soul!

Hard Corps: Uprising ($14.99)

Thrilling retro run-and-gun action is back with a vengeance in Hard Corps: Uprising, a new 2D side-scroller developed by ARC System Works that pays homage to classic Konami action series. Play as the soldier Bahamut as he begins to write his legend. Battle in the grueling trenches of Arcade mode, where only the best-of-the-best can survive to the end, or the all-new Rising mode, where a life bar and point system allow you to purchase items and upgrades to build your soldier up and achieve ultimate victory. Need help? Partner with a friend to lay down some serious carnage.

Hardwood Spades ($4.99)

Welcome to Hardwood Spades… the game where a trick IS a treat! Bid on how many tricks you can take, then work with your partner to make it happen. Don’t overbid, or you’ll be set. But don’t underbid either, or you’ll be stuck with a bag! If you think you can duck all the tricks, go for a nil bid… Just make sure you’re not holding the ace of spades! And be sure to congratulate your partner--or irritate your opponents--with a clever foom!

It's also a new month, which means that it's time for Xbox Live Gold subscribers to claim some of the May Games with Gold. You've got until the end of the month to grab Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams - Director's Cut (Xbox One), and until May 15 to get Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II (Xbox 360). Also, as part of last month's offers, you can still claim The Walking Dead: Season Two (Xbox One) until the 15th.
