Microsoft adds two more games to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility list

Today is Tuesday, which means that Microsoft added two more games to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility list today, including Guardian Heroes and Operation Flashpoint: Red River.

Although new games are typically added to the list on Tuesdays and Thursdays, two were announced yesterday: Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3, completing the trilogy, as far as backward compatibility goes. Last week's additions were Blue Dragon and Limbo.

Guardian Heroes ($4.99)

The classic SEGA Saturn adventure returns to Xbox Live Arcade! Guardian Heroes™ features co-op and online play, multiple game modes, optimised graphics, and brand new achievements.

Operation Flashpoint: Red River

Between Afghanistan and China, the world’s next flashpoint is about to erupt. You and your fireteam can make a difference. How much is up to you. It’s not the soldier with the most expensive gun or the biggest heart who wins on the battlefield. It’s the smartest. Semper fi, Marine.

You'll notice that Operation Flashpoint: Red River doesn't have a price next to it, and that's because you can only buy it in Japan. If you live anywhere else, you'll need to use the disc.

Of course, if you're an Xbox Live Gold member, you should also be taking a look at this month's Games with Gold. You have until the end of the month to claim Super Dungeon Bros (Xbox One) and until the 15th to grab Monkey Island: SE (Xbox 360). The Escapists (Xbox One) was part of last month's offers, but you still have until the 15th to get it.
