Microsoft announces Sculpt Comfort Keyboard

Microsoft has announced today a new keyboard that is designed for Windows 8 that features a split spacebar. The keyboard is ergonomic, features Windows 8 shortcut keys and a detachable padded palm rest.

The keyboard was designed to create a natural arc that encourages a comfortable wrist position and also puts the keys within easy reach. The split space bar has a unique double function that allows it to act as the backspace key that reduces hand movement to reach the backspace key which typically requires you to stretch you pinky to reach.

The device uses wireless usb to connect to your PC and is compatible with Windows 8, Windows RT, Windows 7 and Vista. The keyboard runs on 2 AAA batteries and will retail for $59.95.
