Microsoft confirms that it will unveil Project Scorpio at E3

Over the last week, we've learned a lot about Microsoft's upcoming Project Scorpio console, which promises to be the first gaming machine that's capable of playing games in True 4K. Last Thursday, we learned the full specs, and yesterday we got a look at the dev kit.

But Microsoft itself hasn't done a full reveal just yet, and today, the company confirmed that it will be doing just that at its E3 2017 briefing. The event will be held on June 11 at 2pm PT, and if you won't be attending, you'll likely be able to live-stream it.

While the firm will be showing Scorpio off in all of its glory in June, don't expect for it to be released right away. We're expecting it to arrive in stores this holiday season, so expect a fall launch.
