Microsoft offers six free months to new Groove Music Pass subscribers who pay for one month

Once again, Microsoft is hoping to attract new subscribers to its music service by giving them several months of free usage. It previously offered them a free four-month trial in November, February, and April, but now it's going even further.

This time, in a special 'flash sale' event, Microsoft is giving new subscribers two free three-month promo codes when they buy just one month of service for $9.99. If you decide to jump on this deal, you can either use both codes yourself, giving you six months of free service; or you can give one or both of the codes to friends.

The offer is available in the United States, and you'll continue to be billed on a monthly basis after the end of the free service period, unless you choose to cancel your subscription. The deal will only be available until 12am PT on July 12, so if you're thinking of going for it, don't wait too long.

Groove allows users to download songs on up to four devices, as well as streaming to one device at a time. In addition to Windows 10 devices and the web, Groove is also supported on Xbox, Android, iOS and Sonos devices.
