Microsoft redesigns the board picker for its Whiteboard app on iOS

Microsoft's Whiteboard collaboration app has received a new update today on the Apple App Store that introduces a new design for its board picker. The update also brings with it a number of bug fixes and animation improvements.

The app's version number has been bumped up to 1.19101103 and it streamlines Whiteboard's board picker. Here's the full changelog:

The board picker has a whole new look! It's now easier to find boards you've been invited to join as board titles, last modified dates, and collaboration status are all more visible. We've addressed a bug that occasionally caused a loading issue at start-up for certain devices. Plus there are several animation improvements and bug fixes throughout the app.

Microsoft first announced Whiteboard's general availability back in July of last year at its Inspire 2018 conference. The latest update for its iOS version arrives following a spate of new capabilities and enhancements that have been added to the app since its launch on that platform in September 2018.

Whiteboard's first major update on iOS since launch came last November when it received improved shape recognition effects, an Accessibility Checker, and the ability to pin images to the background.
