Microsoft releases PowerToys 0.23.2 with bug fixes

Microsoft has released a minor update for PowerToys, bringing the suite of tools to version 0.23.2 after last week's release of version 0.23. Microsoft had originally planned to release version 0.24 this week, and it would have included the new videoconferencing tool, which was tested in the experimental release of version 0.22. However, that release has been postponed to next week due to a bug discovered at the last minute.

Instead, version 0.23.2 only includes a handful of bug fixes for the version released last week. The fixes target the Keyboard Manager, PowerToys Run, and Fancy Zones tools. Here's the full list:

  • 6955 - KBM crash when remapping shortcut
  • 6951 - KBM fix for Alt + ` with Japanese keyboards
  • 6533 - PT Run Placeholder files (onedrive) breaks Win32 scan
  • 7138 - PT Run Auto suggest not working
  • 7116 - FZ Clone parent data
  • 6967 - FZ forgets VD Layout
  • 3536 - FZ + Chrome tab issue

If you already have PowerToys installed, it should find the latest update automatically. If not, you can download the app from GitHub, and that's also where you can give feedback to Microsoft and contribute to the development of the tool.
