Microsoft starts selling Band 2 charging stand

Microsoft has started selling a handy stand (no pun intended) for the Band 2 smartwatch. The structure sells for $19.99 but doesn't include a charging cable. The stand is weighted so that it won't slide around on a flat surface, an improvement on fan-made stands built by 3D printers.

The product description reads:

"This stylishly designed charging stand helps with cable management and doubles as a beautiful table clock. It features magnetized adhesion which makes it easy to remove and re-attach the charging cable. When in use, the charging cable tucks away from view tangle-free. And the weight and rubberized base keeps everything nice and stable as your Band recharges in lavish comfort."

A review left on the product page says that the stand is "very well designed" and looks "gorgeous". The reviewer continues on to say that it's sturdy, functional and the best looking stand on the market.

The stand works with all three sizes of the Band 2, and is available online from Microsoft for $19.99, those buying from Microsoft's online store will also get free shipping and free returns.
