Microsoft updates Tetra Lockscreen app for Windows Phone

Microsoft launched its Tetra Lockscreen app a couple of months ago so Windows Phone users could customize their lockscreen with several features including viewing the calendar events, daily agenda, and personal activity in an intuitive way. Today, Microsoft has updated the app with several new features and bug fixes including:

Weather BETA

  • Displays local weather information
  • 3 day forecast
  • Click the city name to access MSN Weather

Bing Map background

  • Select Bing Map and press apply for a daily rotating image

Minor bug fixes

  • Appointments visible on calendar
  • Crash on 930 when switching between calendar and map
  • This version does not contain loading speed improvements (wip)

You can download the free app from the Windows Phone Store here. The app is currently available in the US only but interested users can simply change their phone region from the phone settings to download the app. The app is unavailable for download on the Lumia 1520 for unknown reasons but should work fine on other Windows Phone 8.1 devices.
