Microsoft will ship the Surface Headphones from November 19th; pre-orders on the 15th

When Microsoft's new Surface Headphones were announced at its annual October event in Manhattan last week, the company did not immediately disclose the hardware's release date. Now, the software giant has quietly revealed that the Surface Headphones will begin arriving on your doorsteps from November 19th, based on the product's updated listing.

That means the Cortana-powered noise-canceling Headphones will start shipping "in time for the holidays" before December, as Microsoft promised. Additionally, the Headphones will also become available for pre-order on November 15th. You will be eligible for free standard shipping and free returns, according to the company.

As a brief recap, the Headphones will set you back $350 and be available initially in the United States and the UK. The device includes a circular dial on the ear cups designed to let you adjust the volume or control the range of noise cancellation with 13 levels using the two beamforming microphones on each ear cup.

Eight microphones have also been squeezed into the Headphones to allow you to activate Cortana using your voice. The device also includes a 3.5mm jack.
