Microsoft's gigantic 84-inch Surface Hub features shown off in new video

If you ever wondered how the Surface Hub could be used in daily operation, Microsoft has now uploaded a short video showing off some of its features. As seen in the video below, the Surface Hub is more than just an oversized Surface Pro or TV, and is intended for use in conference rooms. The scale of the screen allows for presentations which can be projected from a device over WiFi or connected to the screen over USB, as well as onscreen display of remotely connected users.

The Surface Hub will become available at the start of January next year, following a delay in production due to "overwhelming demand" and Microsoft wanting to give it more time to increase production, and scale its distribution channels appropriately with its partners, to provide a smoother launch for its customers.

The Surface Hub is currently being marketed as a device for businesses with its lofty price tags of $6,999 for the 55-inch model and $19,999 for the 84-inch behemoth.
