From a free $129.99 Type Cover, to discounts of up to $150, Microsoft offered four promotional deals on its Surface 3 in just three weeks this year, the most recent of which ended on February 20.
So it's almost surprising that the Microsoft Store has been selling the device at full price since then - but if you've been thinking of buying a Surface 3 lately, you can still buy one with a sizeable discount.
Amazon is currently offering the Surface 3 with $100 off its regular price. Over on the Microsoft Store, the 64GB Wi-Fi model is priced at $499, but Amazon is now offering it for $399; the 128GB Wi-Fi version, usually priced at $599, is available there for $499.
Those prices apply specifically to stock sold by Amazon itself - but if you're willing to buy from independent sellers, including those with stock Fulfilled by Amazon, you can save even more - for example, the 128GB model is available from one seller for as little as $459.99 + $6.49 shipping.
