Thanks Gormon of ModBlog who alerted me that after a year of DeskMod absence, ModBlog is almost ready to hit our screens, this is what they've been up to so far:
- After almost a year in public preview mode, ModBlog has entered the final preview phase! ModBlog's development team has been working non-stop to ensure ModBlog is feature complete and problem-free when version 1 final is unveiled within the next month. This final public preview phase will see the last round of feature implementations and resolution of all remaining issues for its first official release.
ModBlog has partnered with Lockergnome to provide ModBlog members a chance to have their writing published! As you may know, Lockergnome is an extremely popular tech-oriented newsletter and website. Through our partnership, we will be selecting several blog entries a week on ModBlog to have published in the Lockergnome newsletter. This will result in a vast traffic increase for ModBlog members that get published, as well as exposing their writings to a very large reader base.
