If you were ever a fan of arcade-style sports games and in particular the NBA variants like NBA Jam and NBA Ballers, chances are, NBA Playgrounds might just be right up your alley.
NBA Playgrounds is an arcade-style basketball game that offers flashy dribbles and dunks, but since it is an officially licensed product, includes the players that you know and love, from both the present and the past. While the trailer doesn't show us much gameplay, it looks similar to the aforementioned retro titles and offers a 2v2 experience. Beyond just playing it alone or with friends locally, you'll also be able to challenge players online.
While there isn't an exact date of when the title will arrive, the game is expected to be released sometime in May. The release will arrive on the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4 in May and will cost $19.99.
