New Sony Ericsson phone rips straight from CD player

Sony's latest Ericsson phone, the Sony Ericsson Premier 3 Walkman, is a rather unique phone, in that it can be plugged into CD players and can copy music played onto the phone. In order to record music, simply plug in a 3.5mm plug from the phone's remote into the CD player and you're good to go.

The phone has a 3" 480×854 pixel display, 3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, GPS, Infrared, but questionably, Sony chose to include a mere 50mb memory. The phone does have a Micro SD card slot, but this can only support up to 2gb cards. On the plus side, the phone has Sony's 'clear audio technology' which improves audio quality, and a dedicated music playback control for handy listening.

The phone retails in Japan for 40,000 Yen, or $450, and will be available in white, pink or gold.
