Nokia Lumia 625 rumored to have 4.7-inch screen, announcement coming next week

Nokia is holding two events over the next week or so, but it looks like one device, expected to be announced in London, will be the Lumia 625. According to a source who leaked information about the Lumia 625, the device will have a 4.7-inch screen and feature a resolution of 800x480.

The device will likely be announced alongside the rumored "catwalk" smartphone, but the Lumia 625, with its mid-tier specs, should come in at a more affordable price point. It's clear by the size of the screen that Nokia is targeting those who want a large-screened device but do not want to pay a premium price for the product, if the rumored information is accurate.

The smartphone reportedly has the codename of "Max," which is likely tied to its large screen. What is more interesting about the device is that it is expected to ship with GDR2, which will include new features such as FM radio support, lock screen clocks and the ability to wake your device by double-tapping the screen.

We don't have to wait long to see if this information holds true, and we will be attending the London event to bring you the all the details as Nokia announces them.
