The image you see in the article is a teaser for a Nokia event that will be held on August 21. The firm has come out strong, announcing that "we are thrilled to bring you the Nokia smartphones event for one of the most awaited phones on Tuesday 21st August. Stay tuned for more!"
Perhaps the most curious part of the message is that Nokia mentions "smartphones". This could either be a typo or could indicate that the company is readying to debut more than one device. While it really could be anything, it might end up in a category above the previously released Nokia 8. While the Nokia 8 was a pretty good phone, its design left something to be desired and its specifications really didn't rock the boat when compared to its competition.
If Nokia is planning to release a high-end smartphone, we could perhaps finally see the release of the heavily leaked Nokia 9. But if it wants to take things to another level, there is also the possibility that we could finally see the Nokia 10. The latter of which allegedly features an impressive penta-lens camera configuration. Naturally, this is all speculation, but luckily we won't have to wait long to find out what Nokia has up its sleeve.
