Odyssey Unveiled 2025: Samsung blends in-person and online worlds in new gaming event

Samsung has announced Odyssey Unveiled 2025, its inaugural hybrid gaming event for the Odyssey gaming lineup, first revealed in March, set to take place on 13 June at Samsung KX in London. The event will also be streamed live via the Odyssey Twitch channel, offering both in-person attendees and global online viewers the opportunity to experience Samsung’s latest gaming display technologies.

The event will be hosted by UK-based esports commentator Dan Gaskin, who will provide live updates and commentary throughout the evening. He will be joined by content creators Caedrel and George Clarkey. Caedrel, widely recognised in the League of Legends community, and Clarkey, a popular influencer and co-host of The Useless Hotline podcast, will take part in gameplay demonstrations using Samsung’s Odyssey monitors.

Two main showcase matches are scheduled. The first features The First Berserker: Khazan, a soulslike game presented on the 27-inch Odyssey 3D (G90XF) monitor. The G90XF offers a 4K display with glasses-free 3D technlogy, powered by eye-tracking and a lenticular lens. It features a 165Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, adaptive sync support, and more. It will be used by Caedrel and Clarkey to highlight immersive visual depth without the need for glasses.

The second demonstration involves Rocket League played on the 27-inch Odyssey OLED G8 (G81SF). The G81SF features a 4K QD-OLED panel with a 240Hz refresh rate and ultra-fast 0.03ms response time. It offers glare-free viewing, burn-in protection, premium adaptive sync, and more.

After their head-to-head match, the streamers will invite an on-site attendee to join the competition. On-site visitors at Samsung KX will also be able to explore two dedicated experience zones. The Odyssey Box offers access to the Odyssey 3D monitor along with a streaming station, allowing guests to record and share gameplay clips. Meanwhile, the Gaming Bus & Bus Stop will provide attendees the chance to try out both the Odyssey 3D and OLED G8 monitors and interact with influencers present at the event.

Samsung has confirmed that branded merchandise and giveaways will be distributed during the event, enhancing the experience for those attending in person. Online viewers will also have chances to win prizes, including limited-edition accessories and an Odyssey OLED G8 monitor, by participating in live chat interactions and QR-code-based competitions.

Odyssey Unveiled 2025 will be streamed live on the Odyssey Twitch channel starting at 19:00 BST (14:00 EST) on 13 June. For real-time updates and post-event content, audiences are encouraged to follow the hashtag #OdysseyUnveiled2025 on social platforms.
