OneDrive gets a new look on Windows Phone, along with Business support

A few weeks back, Microsoft rolled out its latest update for OneDrive on iOS, and alongside its announcement, it encouraged Windows Phone users to "stay tuned, updates are coming your way soon too". Those updates have now become available, as a new version of OneDrive for Windows Phone has been released, bringing the version number up to 4.4.0.0.

Along with the usual range of "bug fixes and performance improvements", the update also includes significant changes and new features.

The most obvious change is an updated user interface, featuring a new menu button - allowing users to easily jump to recent and shared files - along with the long-awaited arrival of support for OneDrive for Business.

Microsoft says that version 4.4 of the app includes:

  • Improved design
  • OneDrive for Business support
  • Sign in with both your personal OneDrive and your OneDrive for Business accounts
  • Organise and open your OneDrive for Business files
  • Save new files to your OneDrive for Business
  • Easily send your OneDrive for Business files

Yesterday, Microsoft announced that it is upgrading OneDrive storage for Office 365 customers, increasing their online storage from 1TB to unlimited capacity.
