OnePlus 2 shipments for the US and Canada have been delayed

A day before sales begin for the OnePlus 2, OnePlus is reporting that due to production schedules, the shipment of the OnePlus 2 to the United States and Canada will be delayed by 2 to 3 weeks.

A staff member on the OnePlus forums revealed that although you'd still be able to purchase a OnePlus 2 on August 11th, those in the United States and Canada would have their device shipment delayed by 2 to 3 weeks. It is still unclear what the delivery dates would be, but shipments would start 2 to 3 weeks after they begin for Europe.

The One Plus 2 will begin sales of its latest handset starting August 11th. The handset will start at $329 for the 16GB version and $389 USD for the 64GB version. Much like the previous handset from OnePlus, the OnePlus 2 will only be available to purchase for those with invites. If interested in purchasing the handset, be sure to register on the OnePlus website. But, be warned as over 2 million people have reserved a handset meaning it could be quite some time before you are able to purchase one.
