Next week, OnePlus will finally reveal its latest smartphone, the OnePlus 5. For the past couple of months, information about the handset has been seen in various leaks, along with purported images of the device. While the firm did eventually release a picture of it, it looks like Amazon India is already spilling the beans by revealing the handset in a commercial that is currently airing on TV.
In a video posted to YouTube, it appears that a keen-eyed viewer was able to spot the commercial and record the last few seconds of it. While there really isn't much context to what is happening, the most important part occurs at the end when the device itself spins into view and reveals a date of June 22.
The images that have been leaked in the past look extremely similar. One of the most distinguishable aspects of the phone is the horizontal dual camera. The OnePlus 5 is also slated to have improved audio quality compared to its predecessors.
OnePlus will reveal its handset on June 20 and will host many other smaller pop-up events that will take place all across the world. While sales dates are currently unknown, there was an earlier rumor that stated those in India would see it arrive on June 22, which matches the date listed on the Amazon India commercial.
