OnePlus 5 no longer available, fueling rumors of the impending OnePlus 5T

The OnePlus 5 was only launched four months ago, but over the past few days, new rumors have been popping up, in regards to a successor being dubbed the OnePlus 5T. We have seen alleged leaked renders of the device in white and black, but now there might be a better indication that this handset is indeed coming soon.

Although the OnePlus 5 has been 'out of stock' from the firm's official website, navigating to the website now, shows that there isn't even an option to purchase the handset in the United States and Canada. This could be a good indication that something new is on the horizon. While this is exciting, this shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone that follows OnePlus, as it had a similar release cycle with last year's OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T.

While not much is currently known about the handset, earlier reports stated that it could come with a screen measuring in at 6-inches, and a display sporting an 18:9 format with a resolution of 2160 x 1080. There could also be some sort of improvements to its internals, but the previous handset was already quite a powerhouse, offering a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and a choice of either 6GB RAM or 8GB RAM. Hopefully, we won't have to wait long to find out what OnePlus is up to.
