OnePlus drops the price of the OnePlus 8 by $100 ahead of 8T launch

Today, OnePlus announced that it's dropping the price of the OnePlus 8 by $100. You can now get the 128GB model for $599 and the 256GB model for $699. The price change is reflected on OnePlus.com, Amazon, and T-Mobile, but if you go the T-Mobile route, you can get a deal where you get 50% off if you add a line.

The news comes just a few weeks ahead of the announcement of the OnePlus 8T, which is set to arrive on October 14. The handset is expected to arrive with a 120Hz screen that was previously exclusive to the OnePlus 8 Pro, and it's going to have 65W Warp Charging. It's also worth noting that there isn't going to be a OnePlus 8T Pro, likely the reason that there's no discount on the OnePlus 8 Pro.

The OnePlus 8 comes with a Snapdragon 865 chipset, 8GB or 12GB of RAM, and a 6.55-inch FHD 90Hz display. If you want to pick one up, you can find it on OnePlus.com here, Amazon here, and T-Mobile here. Make sure to check out our review before you buy.
