In the most recent update to OnePlus Gallery, integration for Google Lens has been added. This means OnePlus users can now easily scan a product, animal, text, or something else in their environment, and their phone will tell them what the object is. The app comes pre-loaded on all OnePlus phones.
The change is rolling out in version 3.11.2 of the app, which initially was made available to a limited subset of users last week, but is widely available now. To use the service, users need to open an image in the Gallery app and tap the Lens icon appearing next to the heart option on the top right. Once it is clicked, it will scan the image, and identify any elements that it finds.

Google Lens, which uses your smartphone's camera to give you contextual information pertaining to your surroundings, has been significantly improved over time. It is now able to identify text and assist you in its translation, copying, and searching for it. For example, if you scan a book cover, Google Lens will provide you reviews after identifying the title from the web. Similar actions can be taken with albums, movies, and games just by scanning their covers.
