OnePlus is rolling out Oxygen OS 10.3.2 to the OnePlus 6 and 6T devices that bring with it a few fixes and the February 2020 monthly security patch. The update comes just a couple of days after the Open Beta 5 build was released for these devices for those enrolled in the beta program. The beta release also included the February Android security patch.
Today’s update is a minor one with a few fixes, including one that fixes screen flickering while swiping to unlock the phone. There are the usual stability improvements and bug fixes. Interestingly, the Open Beta 5 update fixed a long list of issues including app crashes, update to the Phone app, some fixes to Messages that were specific to India, and more.

The Android 10 rollout for these devices was not as smooth as expected since the update was pulled multiple times owing to issues and bugs before finally being released with version 10.3.0. The bug fixes are therefore welcome for users that have been experiencing issues with previous updates. With Open Beta 5 for these phones also concentrating heavily on bug fixes, it wouldn’t be long before those fixes make it to the stable builds.
Today’s update will be a staged rollout, meaning that not all devices will begin seeing the update right away. The build will be delivered as an over-the-air (OTA) update, so users may have to wait slightly longer if they are not seeing the updates yet. The company adds that using a VPN to spoof one’s geo and download this build will not work since the build is “randomly pushed out to a limited number of devices”.
