OnStar took the wraps off its new mobile app this evening at CES 2010.
The mobile app for Android, BlackBerry and iPhone devices is available immediately and will monitor Chevy's Volt electric car, due to ship later this year. The lightweight app can lock and unlock the car, notify you when charging has been interrupted and sound the car horn when you can't find your car in a car park.
The app will also remotely start the cars heater but it will not start the cars engine without a key in the ignition.
