Although Oppo has yet to penetrate the world market, news of their handsets constantly hit the wire due to their excellent specifications, excellent build quality and wonderful designs. Just in time for the holidays, it looks like Oppo will be updating one of their previous released handsets, the R7 Plus.
The original R7 Plus offered 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, while the updated variant will offer 4GB and 64GB of storage space. The other specifications of the handset will remain unchanged.
The new R7 Plus will offer:
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core CPU
- 4GB RAM / 64GB storage
- 6-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display
- 4100 mAh Li-Po battery
- 13-megapixel Sony IMX278 / 8MP front-facing camera
The handset is now available for preorder via the Oppo site and will be available later in the month. The China Unicom variant will retaill for 2999 Yuan (US$ 466) and the unlocked version will retail for 3299 Yuan (US$ 513).
