Oppo's F9 offers a sleek design and introduces a teardrop screen cutout

There have been plenty of Android phones over the past year that have come with a cutout in the display. But, Oppo's newly announced F9 takes a different approach on the notch, offering a teardrop shape.

The phone will be powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 processor and will come with either 4GB or 6GB RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. The display will be quite large, coming in at 6.3 inches with a 1080p resolution. You will notice that the display has a cut out on the top portion and a small bezel on the bottom chin. Sure, this design choice will still most likely rile up those that are against "screen warts" but it looks much more elegant and streamlined than its competitors.

As far as the camera, the rear will have a dual set up, making use of a 16MP and 2MP sensors. The front-facing camera will come in at 25MP. The phone will be available in China and will come in three colors: Starry Purple, Twilight Blue, and Sunrise Red.
