Photos of Microsoft's Surface Mouse appear in FCC filings

Yesterday, we saw an FCC filing for the upcoming Bluetooth Surface Keyboard. What you see above is the Surface Mouse, also from the FCC's website. The first thing that you'll notice is that it looks exactly like the Designer Bluetooth Mouse - which retails for $29.95 - except with Surface gray coloring.

The filings were submitted on February 16, although the photos weren't made available until August. Like the other listings that we've seen, this one had a confidentiality request of 180 days.

According to Windows Central, the new accessories could be announced as early as this week. They'll likely come bundled with the rumored Surface all-in-one, which is the only Microsoft hardware that's still slated to arrive this year, and there might be an event for it this month.

Other Surface hardware, such as the Book 2, Pro 5, and Phone, are still slated for a spring 2017 launch, which should show up alongside Redstone 2. As for the prospect of a Band 3, that's not looking very likely, as the company has removed the listing for the Band 2 from its store and has said that there's no new model coming this year.
