PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is coming to consoles as an Xbox exclusive

Playerunknown's Battlegrounds is the kind of gaming success story that just makes you stand in awe for a minute. Made by a gamer turned developer, Battlegrounds is a 100 player battle royale shooting game that has quickly become a classic and has become especially popular with YouTube and Twitch streamers.

It's no surprise, then, that Microsoft has convinced Brendan Greene, Playerunknown himself, to bring his brain child to consoles. The company even convinced Bluehole Studios to make it an exclusive for Xbox One, with further enhancements aimed at taking full advantage of the added power of the Xbox One X later this year.

No firm launch has been given except that it will be released in 'late 2017'.
