Rainbow Six Siege is discounted and free-to-play on PC this weekend only

If you've been on the fence when it comes to buying Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege then these offers may be of interest to you.

From now until Tuesday, April 19, you can grab Rainbow Six Siege on Steam for 33% off the normal price of $60.95 bringing it down to $40.83. The Gold Edition of the game, which includes the season pass, has also received a discount of 40% knocking down the price from $90.95 to an enticing $54.57. Similar discounts appear to be available through Uplay in localized currencies.

However, if you're not sure whether or not the game is all it is cracked up to be, you have a prime opportunity to play it for free until 1PM Pacific Time or 8PM UTC on Sunday, 17 April. That said, you'll need to get cracking and maybe lay off the Netflix if you've got a slower internet connection with the download weighing in at 14GB.

The free-to-play offer is available through both Steam and via the banner advertisement in the Uplay client.
