Last week, Razer unveiled the Atheris, a new mouse that promises "the world's longest-lasting battery life among mobile productivity mice with gaming-grade features". Today, it announced another new piece of hardware designed for gamers.
Behold, the Wolverine Ultimate, a new controller designed for Xbox One and PC gamers - and Razer claims it's "the most customizable controller" for those platforms:
The Razer Wolverine Ultimate was designed to adapt itself to any gamer. Two interchangeable D-Pads, a range of interchangeable thumbsticks with different heights and shape and a total of 6 remappable triggers and buttons – both via Razer Synapse for Xbox and on-the-fly – provide maximum customizability.
It has a 'Quick Control Panel' too, providing one-touch access to various tasks, such as mute on/off, and activating or deactivating voice chat.
As you can see in the pictures, it also features Razer's signature Chroma RGB lighting strip, which gamers will be able to control using its Synapse for Xbox software, with 16.8 million colours available, "and a variety of effects that include Static, Spectrum Cycling, Breathing, Wave and more."
That makes the Wolverine Ultimate the first console product that supports the Chroma SDK, "allowing developers to integrate advanced lighting capabilities for Xbox One games, and console controllers for next level gaming immersion."
