Realme smartphone sales cross one million mark in India

Oppo's sub-brand, Realme, which recently started working as an independent brand, has announced that it has hit the mark of one million smartphone sales in India. What's interesting is that the company reached this milestone in just five months.

Realme has so far launched two smartphones in the Indian market -- Realme 1 and Realme 2. The Realme 1 was announced in May earlier this year while the Realme 2 was announced in August and went on sale earlier this month.

The company had previously revealed that it sold 200,000 units of Realme 2 in the first flash sale and 170,000 units in the second flash sale, bringing total to 370,000 units in just first two weeks.

Realme is all set to launch its third smartphone in the Indian market -- Realme 2 Pro, which is expected to be priced aggressively. The company has already sent out media invites for the launch event that is scheduled on 26 and 27 September.
