Epic Games Store has put on offer Rebel Galaxy to claim and keep for free this week, taking the place of A Plague Tale: Innocence and Minit.
Rebel Galaxy is a western-themed space adventure title that gives players the freedom to make choices and negotiate their way out of situations, much like an RPG. Here’s how the Epic Games Store describes it:
Rebel Galaxy is a game of action-packed combat, exploration, discovery, trade, and “negotiation” with the outlandish denizens at the edge of the known universe.
You’ll battle pirates, explore anomalies, befriend aliens, scavenge battle wreckage, mine asteroids, and discover artifacts. Choose your path as a roguish do-gooder, crafty space-trader or power-hungry privateer in this swashbuckling space adventure.
Epic Games Store is offering Rebel Galaxy for Windows, but it’s also available for macOS via Steam where it is priced $19.99 at the time of writing. Here are the minimum requirements:
- OS: Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows 8, Windows 10
- Processor: Intel® Core™ 2 Duo 2.4 GHz, AMD Athlon™ X2 2.8 GHz, or higher
- Memory: 2GB RAM or higher
- Graphics: Shader Model 3.0, 512 VRAM
- Graphics API: DirectX 9 or higher or OpenGL
- Storage: 2GB Disk Space
- Sound: DirectX 9.0c-compatible, 16-bit
