Rocket League arrives to the Nintendo Switch this holiday season

Psyonix's competitive rocket based vehicular football game, Rocket League is now arriving for a brand new platform, the Nintendo Switch. The announcement arrived during Nintendo's E3 event, with a couple of Psyonix developers officially delivering the news.

The Switch version will include exclusive customizations such as Mario and Luigi hats, and also custom Battle-Cars, which will be unveiled later.

This version of Rocket League will also include local wireless multiplayer as well as cross-play with other platforms, a popular and highly used feature of the game on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Although the developers didn't elaborate on which platforms the Switch version will be able to cross-play with, the PC version is the most probable one.

No definite release dates were announced, with Psyonix only giving a holiday release schedule for the Rocket League Switch version.
