The upcoming eighth movie of The Fast and the Furious franchise will soon have something in common with Rocket League, other than all the exploding cars. Psyonix has announced that the heavily modified Dodge Charger set to appear in The Fate of the Furious movie is coming to Rocket League as its newest DLC Battle-Car: the Ice Charger. The new trailer showing off the DLC can be seen below.
This isn't the first time the game has been involved in a movie promotional deal, with the Batmobile joining its DLC roster back in 2016, right before the release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Coming back to the new DLC, aside from the new Battle-Car, it also ships with the Clean Cut, Crazy Sandwich, Flames, Rakugaki, Rally, and CCCXL premium decals, along with exclusive Ice Charger wheels.
Rocket League: The Fate of the Furious DLC will be available for $1.99 on April 4. The Fate of the Furious movie will premiere in theaters just ten days later, on April 14.
