For those looking to add a little flair and style to their Samsung Galaxy S5, Galaxy Gear 2, and Gear Fit will be happy to know that Samsung is partnering with acclaimed British shoe designer Nicholas Kirkwood to create an exclusive line of accessories. Samsung released a 15 second commercial / teaser on its official Instagram channel showing the bold yet simple designs.
This is the second collaboration between Samsung and Kirkwood, the previous being an accessory line for the Galaxy Note 3. The Kirkwood collaboration utilizes the simple yet distinct chevron pattern with a mix of subtle and bold colors. For its second collaboration with Kirkwood, Samsung has branched out, creating a line of wrist straps for its newly released Gear watches. These also share the same distinctive chevron pattern.
Based on the commercial it looks like Samsung will be releasing two different colored cases for the Galaxy S5. The cases will come in a gold / white and green / white. The wrist straps are a bit more ambiguous as it looks there will only be a white / black version. But, midway through the video, what looks like a green / white variant can be seen being worn by the model, similar to the color of the Galaxy S5 case. Samsung has not announced details about the pricing, availability, or colors of the accessories. The Samsung Galaxy S5, Gear 2, and Gear Fit are available globally.
