Samsung Galaxy Note20 will reportedly start at €999, Galaxy Buds Live at €189

Samsung is set to host this summer's Galaxy Unpacked event, and the company has begun teasing the presentation with an official trailer offering a glimpse at all of the upcoming devices. Among those devices is the Galaxy Note20, the latest iteration of the company's long-running Note series, which has been extensively leaked prior to the official announcement.

One thing that hadn't been revealed yet was the price, but thanks to leakster Ishan Agarwal on Twitter, we now have an idea of the starting price for each of the models, at least in Europe. The cheapest model, the Galaxy Note20 4G, will start at €999, while the Note20 5G will start at 1,099€. Finally, the Note20 Ultra 5G will start at €1,349, a significant jump from the other two models.

The high price tag may be somewhat alleviated because Samsung is increasing the internal storage capacity for the base model, with 256GB now being the lowest tier available. However, as previously reported, the Note20 4G and 5G models will both use Samsung's "glasstic" material for the rear panel, which is just plastic that's meant to feel similar to glass. It would seem that real glass will be reserved for the Note20 Ultra.

Aside from the difference in materials, the Note20 Ultra is expected to ship with a QHD+ display instead of a Full HD+ panel on the cheaper models, have a better camera setup, and feature a 120Hz panel that might not be on the regular Note20.

The leak also reveals a €189 price tag for the Galaxy Buds Live. A big selling point for the Buds Live is expected to be active noise cancellation, and if the price is confirmed, it will be significantly cheaper than Apple's AirPods Pro, which cost €279 in Europe. In fact, the price is closest to the European pricing for the regular AirPods without wireless charging, which cost €179.
