Samsung Galaxy Note9 owners rejoice! bxActions has been updated to support Bixby 2.0

A few days ago we reported that Samsung had made some changes to Bixby 2.0, that didn't allow users to disable the firm's digital assistant. Thankfully, it looks like there might be a reasonable solution to the problem, as the bxActions app has now been updated to support Bixby 2.0, giving users the ability to remap the physical button to perform other actions.

Clearly, the update for this app is a godsend for Galaxy Note9 users, as the reviews section for the app would indicate. You still won't be able to completely disable the Bixby button, but at least you'll be able to remap the button to perform other useful actions like bringing up Google Now, the flashlight, and more.

You can see the full list of changes the latest update brings:

• Launch actions from lockscreen!
• Added long press option
• Added PC permissions
• Stability improvements
• Fixes and optimizations

If you want to give it a try, be sure to head to the source link below and install it on your handset. The app is free but it does have other options that can be unlocked with purchase.
