Samsung might be throwing a nuanced jab with its latest commercial

You might have heard about the little issue with the quality of the displays that can be found on the Google Pixel 2 XL and LG's V30. So, it comes as no surprise that Samsung has now released a well-timed commercial touting the quality of its own displays found on its Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, and Galaxy Note8 smartphones.

The commercial is short, sweet and to the point - showing off various high-profile YouTubers, gushing about the displays on Samsung devices. The firm has spent years working with AMOLED, so it seems only natural that it would have perfected it by now. On the opposite end of the spectrum, LG is just starting, and their inexperience with the technology is clearly showing.

While there can be many things imperfect about a handset, having something wrong with the display is considered inexcusable by many at this point. The screen is something that is unavoidable when using a touchscreen phone and requires users to interact with it many times on a daily basis. It's arguably clear that this go-around that Samsung has trounced its competitors, but there are many battles on the horizon and companies are always improving their technologies.
